Referee Courses

Referee Training is coordinated through Alberta Soccer with courses hosted throughout the province.  To see details on the upcoming courses scheduled and additional information on the Referee Pathways please follow the link to the Alberta Soccer site

How to register for a course:

Registration for Entry Level referee courses is now back open.

The course is made up of a combination of online self-directed modules, an instructor-led webinar session, an online exam and finally an on-field practical session.

To register:

You must be aged 14 or above to take the Entry Level Course.

You must create a Ref Centre account: Link: www.refcentre.com/alberta . Put the start dates of the course in the required calendar. Put the calendar start date as todays date, rather than the Practical session dates, in order to bring up all the current available courses.

(Please note: if you were a mini referee you will have to set up a new Ref Centre account using a different email address rather than being able to continue with your mini ref account.)

You must sign the waiver.

You must pay the registration fee online.

Once you have completed those steps you will be able to access and begin the online modules straight away. Ref Centre will track your progress as you work through the stages of the course and will prompt you about what you have to do when it comes the webinar / exam etc.

Please contact Derek at Calgary Women's Soccer Association derek@mycwsa.ca with any questions about the courses.
