Important Info:

*Game Sheets/Rosters/Game Defaults

- October 27, 2007
Please take note of the following rules:
1.)  Game sheets must have players listed in ALPHABETICAL ORDER
2.)  All "Play Ups" must be indentified on the game sheet as a play up
3.)  If a player does NOT appear on your online roster they are NOT registered - do not let them play or your team will default

PLAYER REGISTRY- February 15, 2007
The CWSA, CUSA, Co-ED and CMSA are pleased to announce that our NEW Player Registry is now active online.  As a player looking for a team you can log in and provide your playing history and level of interest.  Coaches can log in and look for players who may fit into your team.

Registration and other FAQ's - May 22, 2007
1.)  I have faxed in my registration form, am I registered?  If you have faxed in your registration form as a player returning to the same team you can check to see that you are on your team roster online.  Please allow (at least) 72 hours from the date you faxed in your form before you resend your registration by fax.
2.)  Do we need to have an alternate colour in case of a conflict?  Yes.  The home team is responsible for changing shirts should there be a colour conflict.
3.)  Our first strip (uniform) must have numbers on it, does our alternate strip require numbers and can we use pinnies?  Your first strip must have numbers for this season your second does not.  Pinnies are definitely acceptable and do not require numbers at this time.
6.)  We have several conflicts arising with our Coed schedule - can we get our games rescheduled?  Unfortunately due to the nature of sport and availability of resources to support this sport etc. we are unable to reschedule any games as they have been scheduled for the seeding round.  We have made the accomodation of allowing each team 4 guest players that are registered on other teams within COED.

ASA DIRECTIVE IN REGARDS TO JEWELRY WORN BY PLAYERS - December 6, 2006
Please take note of the following ASA rule and directive in regards to jewelry worn by players which will be enforced effective the Kickstart tournament:
From the ASA 2006/07 Rules of Indoor Soccer

- All items of jewelry are potentially dangerous.  The term dangerous can sometimes be ambiguous and controversial, therefore in order to be uniform and consistent,
any kind of jewelry is forbidden.
- Players are not allowed to use tape to cover jewelry.  Taping jewelry is not adequate protection.
- Rings, earrings, leather, or rubber bands are not necessary to play and the only thing they can bring about is injury.
So if the jewelry is visible or can been seen, it must come off or out.  The only exception to this is a medical alert bracelet which can be worn as long as the referee is satisfied that it will not pose any danger to anyone.

WHAT DO WE DO IF A REF DOES NOT SHOW?? - October 11, 2006
Referee shortages are a real and painful reality for soccer in Calgary this year.  Coed Rec has, as have most organizations been trying to do their part in adding to the pool of officials by including the costs for clinics in fees or making it mandatory to send one representative from each team to a ref clinic.  We do not see this issue disappearing in the immediate future unfortunately.

Now what do you do if the ref for your game doesn't show up?
1.) The game must be played - it will not be rescheduled nor will there be any refunds for the game.
2.) Each team must provide one person to "ref" for each half
3.) Each team must submit their game sheet to the office to recieve their fp points and score

CLARIFICATION ON MAJOR LEAGUE vs. MAJOR DIVISION - August 23, 2006
Please note there has been some confusion surrounding the indoor season and "Major" players.  The indoor season is a Major Division not a league and thus those players who are not part of the Outdoor AMSL are welcome to play Coed !!

COED INFORMATION:

This is recreational indoor soccer at the Calgary Soccer Centre and/or the Calgary West Soccer Centre.

We welcome team registration.  If you are an individual looking for a team please use the player registry, link online above.
Beginners are ALWAYS welcome, but everyone must be over the age of 18!

Players can be registered with CWSA/CUSA (except Major League) as well as the CSF Co-ed Rec Soccer league.

There have been some rule changes from previous seasons, please check "RULES" under "DOCUMENTS" on this site for the current season's rules.
